Grip warmers quit working

Hi. I have a 2002 Yamaha mountain max 700. The hand grip warmers have stopped working. They both worked to start this season, then the right one quit, now both quit. I hooked a battery charger up to the wires coming from the grips, one grip at a time, and both heated up. What could be causing them to not work? all my headlight, taillight etc works fine

It is strange that only one quit at first because they appear to be wired in series.
Check for voltage on the Y/R lead with the warmer switch turned on high.

I'm not getting voltage to the Y/R wire. What could be causing that if headlights/ taillights everything else "electrical" is working fine?
