Grand Mesa

Mostly covered as of like 3 weeks ago- but not much snow since so perhaps some hazards are peaking out again. I haven't bothered going up there in the last while so that probably says something. Forecast not too promising either sadly. Snow won't be particularly fresh, but perhaps closer to Glenwood Springs they got more outta the last storm than over by powderhorn?

That is good news...good fresh snow and most all rocks and stumps covered?

The snow is decent. Some of the super rocky areas are still super rocky, but most other areas are good to go. Thunder Mountain Lodge....

this last storm cycle missed Grand Mesa entirely. Winter Park area got hammered.
Anyone ride the mesa this week? Doesn't seem like it got much snow. Riding there tomorrow and wondering how conditions are?
They got an inch or 2 today over on the powderhorn resort side. Haven't seen significant snowfall for awhile. Thunder mountain is showing 20 inches of snow for Febuary... I was kinda hoping to go up this weekend. Not much moisture heading this way it appears though

Anyone have recommendations on where to stay a few days up on the Mesa? I am hoping to spend a few days riding up there next month.
