So, today while riding my daughter said that the sled(2000 AC 120) slowed down and just shut off. I tried to start it again and. Could not get it to fire. It normally starts on the first or second pull. Pulled it to
the shop and took the spark plug out and it was dry and looked good. Then I checked the oil level and as soon as the plug was out, oil and gas blew out of the hole. Of course with no pan or floor dry on the cement.
What do I need to investigate? Am I looking at a new engine?
My little girl is devistated.
The sled supposedly has an aftermarket carb that is larger than the original. The valve cover breather is just open to the engine bay and does not connect to an air box like the original carb and intake. It also has the governor pinned.
please tell me it’s something simple.

My guess is that you have a carb issue. The float valve might be stuck open. Drain the oil/ gas mix, put in fresh oil and get the carb figured out and you should be good to go.
