The older units are much more easily operated because they are not touch screen units. A touch screen in winter type conditions is almost inoperable at times. Just my take on them. I have both.

I've got 3 of these exact units and love them. Last one I picked up for $100, didn't need it but at that price I wasn't going to let it pass. Awesome devices. I see no need to have the 6** or 7** Garmin Rino's.
