Anyone ever hear what it would cost to add to a 24 ?
I believe so - I think it’s a cheaper upgrade in Canada without buddy tracking. So is the buddy tracking disabled on units bound for Canadia? Or how do they make it not work up there?
It's great. Whether it's any better than 7s, i don't know. Definitely easy to look at. Rode a 154 and 165 snopro and didn't even bother looking at regular guage because it is too hard to see. Actual temp is easier to see on 7s. It is in bigger numbers unless on tracking. From what I've seen, it's got a beautiful screen. Makes the 7s look a generation old
So the obvious question...why not buy US gauges?I believe so - I think it’s a cheaper upgrade in Canada without buddy tracking.
It’s todo with the radio frequency used not being allowed in Canada. I like that the garmin tread is using satellite so maybe can adopt that over for Canadian customers. Tracking on my 7s is so beneficial now after 2 seasons with it.So the obvious question...why not buy US gauges?
That's what I was trying to say.So what happens when 2 or more US sold sleds that have the G8 gauge with the group ride activated come to Canada and rides in BC? Is someone going to stop it from working after you cross the border?
Kinda like removing a mattress tag? It’s to do with the radio frequency used not being allowed in Canada.
Hopefully work fine, would be nice if guys could under the table crack the Canadian gauges or add the hardware. So what happens when 2 or more US sold sleds that have the G8 gauge with the group ride activated come to Canada and rides in BC?
