G4 travel covers

What's everyone doing for a cover? I know Ski Doo has one but in reality, they are not good quality for what you pay. Yeah they fit nice but what's the point when the seams bust out. Any thoughts on some of the universal ones out there?

The Custom Sewing brand available through Western Powersports was the go to for durability for the XP and XM chassis. One cover last me 6 seasons and 5 sleds! Great fit thick material and no logos....just black canvas.

I reluctantly bought a Ski Doo cover for the G4 yesterday because Custom Sewing doesn't show one for the G4 yet.

We also went with the BRP covers but I do find them lacking personally... I'd have like something that covered a bit more of the sled.

The only disappointment is that the cover doesn't cover the pretty white powder-coated tunnel. That was a bit of an over sight... otherwise it will do.

Kimpex had one for the XM, was pretty good.

170$CDN... Hopefully they will have one for the G4.

I kept the cover from my 07' M8 and I hope it fits the G4 because it also doubles as my theft protection!

Empire covers, order the large for the 165, had one on my 174 and they are awesome
Oh and they are $60....

Ordered a Seal Skin Cover. Big mistake. Fit is awful. Came with stains on it. So many straps it is daunting. Now company won't return calls and messages for return or replacement. Have claim through credit card. Stay far away from this company.

Then ordered an Empire Cover. Much better and only $50. Fit is decent but not perfect. Covers entire length from bumper to bumper. Will be good for the long hauls.

Kimpex said no cover for the 850... not this year. They said to use the universal one...

The ski doo ones are pricey but they sure fit nice and super easy to take on and off. I'm liking mine so far.

My xm ski doo cover fits pretty well on a g4.

My ski doo XM cover fit the G4 better than the XM! Brought my sled home in sleet and it still looked perfect after 30 miles in the slush

Have you checked out Sno Skinz covers from Littleton CO.
Covers are the best with lifetime warranty. They are not cheap.

I use the one off my 13w xm 154 works better on g4 165 than it did on xm.
