Fuel can behind the seat. Keep that weight as close to the front of the tunnel extension as possible.

This has crossed my mind. I am going with the 1gallon rotopax so I can keep my factory bag on there as well. so, 8 lbs of fuel plus the weight of the can. I plan to buy one of the large mounting place to displace the weight a little more which might help. I also am not so sure that my pack will be under 8 lbs when loaded.

That's a really small fuel can, I wouldn't as concerned about that weight. Mine is almost 3gal so I keep it further forward as it is definitely heavier than my tunnel pelican case.

Skidoo tunnel bag and gas can. Linq plate adapters. Rogue Concept full bumper stiffens tunnel for the extra weight.
