Fox Float Air Pressure

I just put a set of fox floats on my 08 xp, I ride anywhere between 5,000 and 8,000 feet, what pressure should I run. o and we dont ride on trails just backcountry if that is important info.

Let's start with how much do you weigh? That will give people an idea.

I had float 2's on my 08 summit 154. With sway bar in, I got down to 55 psi, pulled sway bar and added 10 psi. Anything below 55 psi, I was close to bottoming out the shocks.... I weigh in the 230 pound range.....

My TNT mtn mod only weighs 365 lbs and I weigh about 185 lbs.
I put tattle tales on all my Floats, a nylon wire tie cinched up snug on
the Float and check for travel after a day or two of riding.

Generally run 30 to 35 lbs on Float II's on the skis without coming close to bottoming. This is because sled is so light and front end especially compared to stock 800's. The nylon wire tie's work great.

I start with high lbs and work down all the while checking the tattletales.

Good Luck

My 34 lb skid I built with Floats, they are generally in the 105 to 115 lb range
which I would guess is low compared to other sleds. Note the front arm is TI from
Alternative Impact, rear arm I designed and built, extensions etc.
