I found real snow today in the state of South Dakota. Working deer season today South of Hot Springs and found snow drifts near the Nebraska border. We got 1/2 inch Wednesday night but it looked like they had a little more that fell to the South with a little wind, 1-2 foot drifts in the ditches and on the hillsides. Chances of snow are in the forecast for the hills by this weekend. It is time to start building a base for the season.
