While on patrol with the US Forest Service here in the Flathead Valley of Montana, Luke Stacy suffered a broken neck in a snowmobile accident. He was helping a fellow rider get his sled unstuck and apparently hit an object throwing him off and sustaining the injury. Luke is an avid rider both professionally and in his off time. He is involved in the local snowmobile community and is also a key player doing avalanche surveys for the public.
