Eagle River World Championship

Went past the derby track this summer on a roadtrip, and thought I really need to see this in jan.

Been to rmsha and sno x races, now its time to see some oval racing!

Wondering what some thoughts are out there about Eagle River during race weekend, places to eat, drink, etc. Are there vendors at the track?

Just trying to get a feel for what the atmosphere is surrounding this event. Thanks for any input.

Sankeys Pub in Three lakes has great bloody Mary's. Not sure how the food tastes but it looks awesome.
Also Billy Timbers in either Antigo or Pelican Lake has awesome food. Pork chops are some of the best I've had.
Neither are too far from Eagle River.

Trails get beat up there during race weekend. Big time.
