Dutchman parking lot was packed today as usual

Sucks when people take up an entire space that can easily fit a truck

If these are your sleds perhaps some consideration for others would be great

How was the snow? I"m thinking about heading up this weekend. Did you happen to notice coverage around kapka? I park there since I'm over 40' with trailer.

Snow is so thin. Last May was better coverage and riding in comparison.

Kapka parking lot was basically pavement with over 10 trucks

Was like that a couple weeks ago when I rode for a bit. Road shoulder riding from Kapka to Dutchman sanded my skis due to the cinder coated snow.

I rode today.

Dirt patches and puddles in the snow out of kapka.

Its rideable..sorta. Had some fun higher up.

This winter is a huge stinker.

Saw some spandexer road bikers today riding up to bachelor. ( there is no snow banks.. etc )

Looks like May/June up there.

Umm.. they likely were expecting someone else to join them and were saving them a parking spot..

I went up today too and managed a spot at Vista Butte. Shot up to dutchman on the side of the road and sanded the skis a little more. Rode up to moon and messed around up there for a bit before heading to elk lake for lunch. 41 more miles toward break in. So warm up there today, high 40s or maybe even 50. I get home and it is 30 and socked in.
