The doo track gets 5 or 10 pounds lighter the longer and harder you ride it if light weight is your thing. I've even seen one trim itself from a 16 wide to a 14 on long hard pull pretty impressive.
i been curious too. in theory it should have better bite with the larger pitch and extra width. slightly larger diameter drivers usually better too. I love the powerclaw but i think it slides on down hills a little more than others. wonder if it rubs the sides.
I'm guessing the bigger drivers come from going from 3 to 3.5 pitch track. If your going to go through the trouble of narrowing a skidoo track I think you would be better off getting an alpha track cutting windows and clipping it to fit a twin rail.
