So, I am waiting on my local shop for the 2889142 mag tether. In the mean time tell me if this is an option.

Use a rubber band wrapped around the kill switch and slide a u shaped shim underneath it to keep it in the on position. Attach a cord and when I go flying off the sled with the shim I will not have to chase the machine down the hill.

Btw in the past I would do just the opposite and put an oring under the button to keep it from shutting down when you rub against it.
