Different headlight options?

What options do I have as far as headlights go? What types of voltage do these sleds run? I'm thinking I want to mount a brighter headlight if possible on my sled. I read somewhere that these sleds put out 12 volt ac, is this the case?and what are my options?

Yes. Headlights and all accessories run on 12VAC.

Thanks. I think I may go battery operated and keep the stock headlight as a back up

I am going with a 6" LED bar light mounted on the handlebars & get rid of the whole headlight assembly. Picked up a cheap rectifier from superbrightleds to get DC and hopefully it works... I will post something after I get it installed

How's it work? Pretty bright? Did you have to get a rectifier?

It's as bright if not brighter then the stock headlight but being a combo beam it throws the light a lot further.
When i ordered there was the option for battery or no battery.
Everything needed came in the kit.

I like it so much that I installed one on my t-nytro also.
