Looks like we got about a foot of snow here at the house. 6 inches in the parking lot this morning. Seven rigs down there at 7o’clock already. We had about a foot and a half of base from the last storm from A few weeks ago.

First pic was the wrong one. This is today’s pic. Yes Reno Tom just stopped by and said the whole parking lot is full. Said he was hitting payment with carbides all the way to independence turn off. Better be careful if you’re getting off road. Still lots of land mines out there.

Thanks for the update, Steve. Hope you get a good dump out of tomorrow's storm. Things are still a little iffy up high. Need more coverage.

Well we got a good 8 to 10 inches here at the house last night. Not the big dump but every bit helps. The groomer is in the parking lot. We just need a total of 18 inches in the parking lot before they will start the program.

Oh yeah it’s covered. He came by here with the groomer last night. He’s hoping they don’t shut the program down to COVID. I don’t get it. People are going to come up here and Snowmobile if the roads groomed are not. I guess it’s the parking lot gatherings they don’t like.

All you have to do is wear a mask in the parking lot and life will be good. People need to wake up. COVID is here to stay for now. When you are not out riding and gathering in the parking lot, Wear a Mask. I don"t like a mask much myself , but it is, the way it is, right now.

I will NOT wear a mask!!! Literally 5% of the US population has been confirmed to test positive fir COVID, which means 95% have not. Of those 5%, 0.4% have been fatal. Wake up. Parking lot gatherings are not an issue and snowmobiling or anything outdoors for that matter is not an issue. I get not going to a concert with thousands of people, but a parking lot gathering with a couple guys...c’mon.

Now, let’s get this forum back to snow conditions. Any updates on depth and quality of the snowpack? Is getting off trail ok or are there still too many land mines?

I haven’t been out yet but heading out today. My son and crew have been out and they say it’s awesome. Definitely have to be careful on getting off trail. Still land mines on the ridges and south facing slopes. Definitely need to get out and enjoy your freedom.

Thanks for the update and glad to hear conditions are starting to look good. I’m hoping to get out later in the week on the Hwy 88 side. Looks like decent storm door might open in a week or so. ?

This was my crew today. First day out and I go out with these kids almost half my age. Yeah they got new 850s and turbos. I think I need to start hanging out with the old guys. The snow was awesome on the north facing slopes we found today. Beautiful day good to be back on the snow. Throttle therapy. Got a love it.

Only took 2 pics, Tip. First pic, knee deep. The meadow had 3 ft. We need at least a good 2-3 ft. dumper, then things should be good to go re: the landmines.

Glad you got out, Steve. You still might be too young to ride with the old, old dudes, but you're getting close.;)

Its about liability ... If one country shuts down ... then you better because sued saying the other people took EXTRA cars by restricting freedoms. Dont get me into the meetings the "new" administrtion is conducting right now to extend restrictions for pollution ... climate change restrictions 1111
