I am taking the wife and kids to stay in the lodge for a cpl days. I have been around the groomed trail one time but it was many years ago. I was not able to find any decent sized hills the last time and was wondering if there are any near without trailering or going across and up Currant Crk. Let me know.

The only decent hill to climb on the daniels side is in buck springs. Well if you don't want it covered in pine trees. If you like steep and deep in he lines then there are quite a few good places behind daniels.

There is a ton of great tree climbs in that area. However if you are looking for point and shoot type of climbs then you may want to ride somewhere else. But some of the best tree riding in the state is up in that area. Can be really fun. However this time of year, there will still be some stumps hanging out here and there so be careful.
