Ctech 2 meltdowns?

I have a 165 alpha, looking to pick up a 154 and was wondering when was the motor melting down? I know theres always those that seem to gernade with 200 miles, but I looking at the high milers that were left stock. What seems to be the top end replacement time?

2700 hard miles on my 2018, no signs of quitting yet. Seen a Zr8000 with 8000 the other day. I think these engines have proven themselves worthy

I know a guy with just over 5000 km on his, I have about 3200KM on my 19 so far, Havent heard of melt downs yet, I do believe just catastrophic failures and or the cranks seizing up prematurely?.

i think a lot of the engine failures were from the intakes not being sealed well on the 18 and 19 sleds. supposedly the newer ones are sealed better. i havent heard of any real problems with the engine, mine has been flawless for 1300 mtn miles.

Yes agreed. Also people not installing the hoods properly and leaving a big gap where the seal meets. Got make sure everything aligns properly or its gonna suck snow.

failed injector on my 19 caused a major meltdown at 172 miles. Luckily I had 3 weeks of warranty left and a good dealer that dropped in a crate motor. I have about 750 miles on the replacement so far
