CrossFire5 , Experiences / Advice... ?

Hi

I have found a CrossFire5 ( 2008 ) in mint condition.
( Yes I'm aware of that it only has 85 Hp
but that is more than enough for my wife to handle  )

She want to have a high seat and I know that the M5/6/7/8/1000 have higher seats but they also have a different fuel tank.
Is there any higher aftermarket seat for the CrossFire sleds ?

What to look out for on the CrossFire5 ?
Any problem with the BEFI system ?
Are they fuel pigs or do they give you good MPG ?
What are the dryweight ?

Any good upgrades for the CrossFire5 sleds ?
...longer track or higher lug height ?
Telescopic steering post ( will it fit ) ?
What about clutching ?

All help are appreciated.

The newer M-series seat will fit on the crossfire. You can fit the 2.25 power claw or camo. on it. EFI works great.

From what model year?

The 2010 and up "wedge seat" is what you are looking for, they are all over ebay, you might even be able to find one local.

The M-series is a pretty bullet proof sled, I would look for leaks from the diamond drive system, overall tightness of the front end, make sure there's no leaking/damaged shocks, clutch condition, other than that...a crossfire 5 would make a great womens sled.

I have one I’m thinking of selling. If I can ask. What did you pay for this sled
