Who has used these up on the deck for hundreds (thousands?) of miles?
Will they hold up and not flop around, or beat themselves up and in the process the sled below?

I’ve used mine for a thousand miles +, per season. Best OEM cover I’ve ever owned. Fits tight, doesn’t flap and has held up in all types of conditions.

Does the rain still git through, or does it shed that pretty good?
Concern would be the controls - throttle cable and such.

???

Also - I'm not overly concerned about the "ride-on" part at all, doo they offer a more basic cover, or just this one?

The offer a basic one. It keeps them pretty dry but not waterproof
