Dang, that's not too bad. Definitely easier to swallow $2k than $3k. Shoot for the original price of an Alpha conversion, I could now buy a conversion kit AND an Elevate kit and end up with exactly what I want. Just not the new Ctech engine, which may not be a bad thing...

I wonder if I could swap my steel drive shaft for an aluminum one while I'm at it. Will the Alpha drive shaft bolt right into my 17 MC? Or maybe the lightweight BDX shaft...?

Thanks for sharing Frostbite!

The Alpha kit comes with a new aluminum driver assembly. I was under the impression that the older sleds needed the newer brake disk, spacer, nuts, and caliper to run it. The description says only needs the spacer and retaining nuts though. must be able to use the old caliper if using the old disk? Next question is if your Evol chambers are clocked right on both shocks to clear the arms.

From the sounds of it If you want your sled to be a deep snow specialist this is the way to go. If you want it to be an all around all season machine then spend a little less and get the twin rail elevate kit.
