The temp module from the dealer is what makes the bars show up on the pod. I belive in 13 the x's came with it, and the sp's you had to buy the module to make the temp guage function. not sure on the 14's

I installed the module on my 12 with the understanding it would show temperature, no luck bars only. So I have an operating range but no numbers.
I think that is as good as we get!!!!

i can activate the temp gauges, lap recorded and a few other features on the multifunction gauges by reprogramming the cluster.

im not certain on what specific sleds the numerical read out will work on but i was able to activate it on mine and another guys 2013 RS cluster

Can you explain reprogramming the cluster?

people send me their clusters, i plug them into my sled, hook up to my system activate the features, write the file to it and i send it back

i have activated alot of fuel gauges for the guys with race sleds. i just discovered the numerical read out last week, but have activated the bar temp gauges for a bunch of people

the advice I've received from fellow Doo riders is if the top bar isn't lit up and you're not getting flashing lights, just don't worry about it. I do try to keep the bars as close to 3-4 as possible by staying in the loose stuff but that is not always easy or even possible depending on how long the ride into the zone is...

here is the temp scale 2 visible bars is 50*, 3-86*, 4-104*, 5-140*, 6-158*, 7-167*, 8-176*, 9-194*

in F*

The scale is on 9 bars.
Normal temp. for 2-strokes should be between T4 and T5 (42-45 degrees C).
Normal temp. for 4-strokes should be between T4 and T5 (75-78 degrees C).

Hmm I wish we could confirm if this works on 2011 and new sleds... the etec is without a doubt reading engine temp just don't get why they don't display it digitally..:face-icon-small-fro
