The real solution for the socialists has actually been re-writing the history of democracy and capitalism, and then teaching it, for over two decades already. This is what's driving the cancel culture. It will accelerate, and the histories the rest of us were taught will become myth and disputed. The entire public education complex was consumed by the progressive boomers and gen-x's in the past 40 years, k-12 and colleges, regardless of country. The non-progressive educators and media are few and outcasts.
And now we're here - gen x + millenial/gen y + gen z of age voters, all taught the revised histories, now outnumber the living boomers + silent gen + greatest gen. 2020 elections will be first in history with this shift in majority. Generations matter. This are simple facts. Cancel culture, hate, and intolerance are now the status quo in education and media. The Chinese proverb - may you live in interesting times - was actually a curse. So appropriate now coming from the Chinese... And I won't apologize if you perceive this as hatebook propaganda - read the first sentence - but you can't cancel me. And history is indeed being repeated...
