champion vs NGK cross reference chart

Kids new (old) Sled calls for n3C Champion. What NGK is that? It has br9es in it now.

would an 8 help with power??

has anyone tried or considered running hotter plugs in a sled? ie, an ngk 8 rather than i 9. i've always ran a 9 and so does everyone one else i know. would an 8 burn more completely, hence more power? or would it just burn hotter, causing more burn downs? or do i just completely misunderstand the purpose and reason behind hotter/colder plugs?

The used Polaris 500 I just bought for my kid, the sticker under the hood says N3 (B8), but it has B9's in it. They both look evenly dark, so I thought i should go back to the factory recommended plug. This is an older 500 EFI Polaris indy. No carbs to dial in.
