Cat 8 inch wide skis?

Anyone running the 8 inch wide skis on their M?

most guys around here with the m1000 are running them , they keep the front end up out of the snow yet still handle great. you have to put a shim pad under the ski rubber to keep it in place.

IMO, if you have to run such wide skis to keep the front end up you need to work on your suspension setup.

I've seen poorly set up sleds dive more than they should, this is easily fixed.

Fixing the suspension is a solution that will still allow you to enjoy days that are less than 2' deep, the wide skis make the sled handle like a doo. Wide skis are the wrong answer to a problem that is easily fixed in my opinion.
