Can I use the Fox Shocks out of a 121" XC-10 Skid in a 136" Edge Skid

Hey hopefully someone can answer this. Can I use the Fox shocks out of my 99 XC 700 skid in the 02 Polaris Frontier Touring skid I am getting? I am assuming I can't since they are 2 different generations of suspension and the edge suspension is a 136 not a 121. Hopefully someone can help me out with this.

not 100% sure on this,

but,

measure center to center with the shock completely stretched out so to speak... then measure the other one center hole to center hole just like the first one... if they are the same it should swap right out.

im sure someone will correct me if im wrong
