buying a sled in Canada

i see a sled i wanna buy but its in canada, guy says he will meet at boarder but I will still need some kind of documentation. Will this be a pain in the ass? If its a pain in the ass will just wait for something in the boarder.

i researched this lately as a Canadian with a sled for sale and USA interest.
I was told all I needed was a pending bill of sale and i could deliver to the the states side. Transfer documention and registration was up to the new US owner. Waaaay easier than how we in Canada have to do it if the scenario is reversed..

Please take the 5 minutes and call your local border crossing to verify what is actually required, as my info. may be misguided in your state!

Its easy, just need make sure the sled has the EPA sticker attached. Then just have sale paperwork with you at border. Bought a nice 14 skidoo xm up there last year.
