EarthX

I put one in my 2012 PRO800, started having engine cut out, after 250 miles pulled a code 651 indicating injector issue. I put the OEM battery back in after 60 miles no issues. I think this battery goes into discharge and reduces voltage, I'm going to try the EarthX again to see if issue returns.

Good post, like to know if your right. Cuts down on weight but if it cycles into a low charge that kills your ride then it a bad thing.

Don’t buy or sell a lithium battery without a BMS (Battery Management System)! EarthX has patent pending technology that makes it the most advanced lithium battery; the highest cranking amp cells (405 CCA (Cold Cranking Amps)); and the only one with a built-in BMS (Battery Management System) for performance, safety and longevity! This is not an upgrade or optional feature but a REQUIREMENT for a lithium battery to operate correctly! Don’t be fooled if someone says if you have quality cells you don’t need a BMS, that is absolutely not true!

Battery management is HUGE for any Li battery to last.

The "kiss of death" for any Lithium tech. battery is if you exceed more than 50% discharge on the battery... the LVCO (low voltage cut off) feature will save the battery.

I'm game for the little "baby" EXT6A battery ($129.00) for a project I'm working on... Just ordered it!

I've been holding off on buying a Li battery till I saw the BMS on the EarthX.

These earths batteries work period. I have been using them for 2 years in all my sleds, 2 will go into my T3's this year and I have one in a Beta 250RR a KTM 200 and a KTM 300 and a snow bike, zero issues , and they all have sat through a season and work perfectly without charging them up... great company as well!
