Any recommended replacement pull cord? I noticed a small fray in mine and want to get it replaced before it leaves me stranded. Also how involved is the replacement? fairly straight forward?

After 200 miles my factory one was bad as well, switched to the cobra cord. 0 signs of wear so far

I broke several on my old BB 800 polaris mod years ago and I put synthetic winch cable. That stuff is super tough, and will never fail as a pull cord.:face-icon-small-win

I second the Cobra Cord. They seem to be one of the best replacement options available, if not the best. I would bet they have a sale going on today because of the holidays. Get yourself a handle to match the cord!!

Go to the closest mountain sports Store and get some rock climbing rope. It is super strong and it will be that last rope you buy for your sled. Just take in a piece of your original rope to make sure you get the same diameter of rope. uploadfromtaptalk1449045059400.jpg

I use 5mm climbing rope. if you have a mountaineering shop near you you can buy a 6 foot piece for under $3.
