A group of us from Washington, are looking to do a road trip in February to Idaho. Where is the best place to ride with lodging that is fairly close?

If you need any riding area tips stop by we would love to help you find the best areas to fit your riding style. 208-634-1199 Kyle.

Thanks for the help. There are 8 of us so far, that are planning on making the trip. Most of us like to boondock and climb, but we will have 2 with us that don't have a lot of experience, so we would like somewhere that would work well for everyone.

You have picked a great place

The choice of Bear Creek Lodge for the place to stay if you can get in on your schedule should be your first option. Mike, the owner, is a great guy and a past president of the local club. He has gas, oil, stickers, and maps of the local areas. You can ride out north past Brundage Mtn with great boon docking areas, steep hills, or meadows, all sorts of options. The groomed trails start across the road from the lodge too. Or you can ride south along Red Ridge and then on West Mountain for many miles to different areas as far as you pack gas for. Great places to ride. The lodge is about 3 miles out of town on the west side.

The town has all the services including repair shops (Kyle). Go to http://snowmobilemccall.net for the latest grooming report and lots of other information, including maps.

We got a bunch of snow last night and should be great riding this Christmas week.

Priest Lake

Sundance Mt. Lodge is only 1 1/2 hours north of spokane. There is 400 miles of groomed trails that you can ride to from our front door. We provide all the food and lodging (3 meals) for $85 per person. This place was build by and for snowmoibling. Call Tony @ 425-417-5252
