Best EGT gauge

I'm gonna be getting an EGT gauge this year along with my mods, don't want to blow anything up I want to run dual probes and have seen the KOSO and Digatron units and am wondering which unit is better etc.... Thanks.

Digatron is the better gauge but more expensive. You have more options with the diagtron like water temp, tach. I ran koso on my 07 and didnt have a problem with them

My opinion...by far the best ones are the old avengers.

Had an avenger II forever and it hasn't missed a beat.

Had 3 digi's. None made a year.

Digatron..............

I would go the Digatron route. I have used them for many years karting and now snomobiling. I have had some issues, none that didn't get taken care of. I like the idea of having some factory support. Digatron has stepped up for me. I know having trouble with things sucks, but we are talking about electronic devises out in the cold and wet. You have to treat them as such. Take a look at most peoples sleds and see how they treat them. A good clean instalation always helps too. I will buy another. -00's

I'm in the same boat right now. I talked to koso, and they're supposed to have a new dual display coming out this oct-nov that will also run water temp and rpm warnings. U can make the display stay on which ever screen u want, but over rides to the warning input. The screen on these will also turn red with warning, which should be nice. Easier to glance down and see how things are running. Set your warning limits for each and....no red....no problem. The digitron does have downloading capabilites and memory, so u can look back and see how things were running though out the whole day. Which ever works for u.

Right on guys thanks alot. I am starting to lean towards the digatron for the down loading capabilities as I cant keep my eye on the screen all day.

the racepak has it all they can do more than 2 egts, water temp,rpm,jackshaft sensor, play back they are a nice unit but they quite making them in 06 and they suggest to not change the battery yourself,one place still will service them and say most problems can be fixed for 150,so potential for $$ is there for a minimum 4 year old electronic unit that seems most want top dollar for ,the koso is a nice unit I believe the ones with water temps are available but not the same memory as digitron and I like digitrons advertised lifetime warranty...I run a racepak right now with a burt out battery...lifetime warranty sounds sweet to me,I wonder about peoples experience with digitrons warranty program ....

Yeah I'm looking for dual Egt only, don't want to squeek a piston with the mods. I was actualy online and I was checking out the 2" analogue pyro gauges, a couple of those would look sweet mounted in the dash of my XP and I could still run my riser bag.
