I have an 11-800 pTek that I love. Rock solid but want to keep it that way.
What's the general recomendations for miles till rebuild?

I would do it about 50 miles before she blows.

Sorry, I don't know how far that is in "metric miles".

I did our 2010's at about 3800. I pull the raves once in a while and keep an eye on how the piston skirt and rings are looking. Do top end when it starts scuffing. My 2c.

If its all mountain miles, I would say 2000-2500 to be safe. It really depends a lot on how you ride and maintain.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll probably tear her down this summer and do some measurements. Top end is much cheaper than a heli ride so will probably do that regardless. Cheers.

Rebuild

Snowmobile engines are rated for 300 hours before a major overhaul. Miles are just a function of average land speed.
