• Advanced avalanche rescue techniques for efficiency.
• Survival techniques and getting help to your location.
• The most common mistakes in avalanche accidents.
• A daily routine that increases your odds in avalanche terrain.
• The two avalanche types that cause the most fatalities.
• How to really read an avalanche forecast.
• Terrain analysis, are you in the wrong spot?
• Successful route finding and group dynamics.
• The how and why of snowpack analysis.
What to bring: transceiver, shovel, probe, pack and especially your riding partners.

As for everyone commenting on the "free" classes being offered. Those classes are sponsored by a manufacturer or dealership. This class is being hosted by a few guys who wanted to have a class locally. Our local Ski Doo Dealer was nice enough to allow us the use of the showroom for the evening. None of us are getting paid for hosting it or doing all the work. All the money goes to the instructor. We need 30 spots filled to host the class. We need 12 more people signed up by December 1st to complete the 30 require spots.
