are polaris oem 900 pistons still the go to or have they made a good aftermarket piston yet?

so i've read and seen that oem polaris pistons are the safe choice but they're so expensive, and since its been a minute i was hoping there was a cheaper but still quallity after market piston available yet? and how long would a after market typically last? like 1000 miles? and how does an oem piston typically go for? any help would be appreciated as the snow is comin in this weekend. thanks
