Anyone wheelie a renegade??

I just got my backcountry and took it for the first ride yesterday. All my other sleds were mountain sled and the front end would lift real easy for boomdocking. I can't adjust the rear skid on this enough to make the sled lift or wheelie easy. Does anyone have any neat tricks? I've got the rear blocks rotated to the lowest and it still seems to prevent ski lift. Any thought would be great. Thanks.

Yes.. I've adusted it was far as I can go before I'm hitting the bottom of the shock stroke. About the only thing I can do that I didn't was soften the rear springs and stiffen the front.

hmm, this is the first time I have ever heard of an xp not being able to lift the skis. One of my riding buddies has a 09 renegade and the only time the skis are on the ground is when it is on the trailer. Sometimes I wonder when skidoo is just going to take the skis off to reduce weight even more:face-icon-small-hap

Like I stated I use to have summits or other mountain sleds that would stand on end. So it might just be me and not use to it yet. A little more playing around with it might make a difference

well i hav a 600 etec renegade backcountry first day with it i could wheelie it not like an 800 but it would lift the skis off pretty good

Look at the rubber pads on the rail where the plastic coupling block contacts. You can rotate the pad 90 degrees so it's out of the way; then the coupling block can travel another 1/4" or so before contacting the rail. I've been running my 09 'gade like this for 2 years in the mountains.

I had a 2010 Backcountry X 800R last year and this was one of the biggest complaints I had with it. I loosened limiter strap all the way and flipped the rubber pads up to give additional weight transfer. Still no matter what I couldnt wheelie it even close to my 2010 Summit X 800R.
