My throttle safety switch hosed me for the last time this weekend. Seems like if you don't pull the throttle at just the right angle the sled bogs. On my old cats you just cut the wires to the switch. Anyone have problems with theirs? What was the fix?

Tether

If you disconnect the TSS, install a tether & wear it. I've disabled the TSS on every sled I've owned, but always install a tether for obvious reasons.

Good to know, my throttle froze dozen of times this winter and made my friends wait for me for ever for my TSS to unfreeze.

Throttle Safety Switch do explain it self :P

It`s there because there is no tether. It stops the sled from having a throttle hang up.
If I could choose I would have the tether....

Does anyone know of a billet throttle block for the M? I think I saw one on the last schooled vid, and wonder who made it. Would love one on mine.

I took my apart and installed a small screw in it to disable it

never had a issue since then. but it was giving me issues. before i disabled it.

So it is as easy as opening the throttle block and unhook the safety switch?
And isolate it with some electrical tape or so?
And then it`s fine and no problems after? I will have a tether too.
But I absolutely hate the TSS. It`s been giving me hell in temps from minus 15 degrees to minus 25 degrees in the beginning of the year here in Norway. Every ride i`m going out riding with my friends, they have to wait for my TSS to loosen up from being frozen.

Ive got a 2013 Limited and my friend got a 2012 M sno pro. No problems for him........

Yes!
Just open it up you will need some small torx screwdivers to do it. I never needed to tape mine up but i guess you could to be safe!
