typical of the 05-08 crfs to have tuliped intake valves and hard starting issues. the stock intakes are titanium and nothing but troubles... check your intake clearances. I bet theyre tight. adjust them... I bet theyll tighten up again after 10 engine hours.
I ran an 05 crf450r in the summer for a 5 years with an 08 head.. among other heads. it was NOTHING but problems in the summer, I couldnt imagine it in the winter. I feel bad for you guys... you dont know what youre getting yourself into with those older crfs.
