Looking to change my 2019 RMK 850 155” into a 146” so it’s more capable of riding both trails/ditches and the mountain. Two sleds in one.
Has anyone done this? Curious to see how much warmer the temps would be and if the cooling system can keep up. I would have to shorten the tunnel obviously but let me
Know your guys thoughts?
Would be using ICEAGE 146” bomber rails and possibly the 1.6” storm track or 2”. Thanks in advance for any info.

I bought 2 SKS's this year. One is a 146 that my wife rides and the other is a 155. After 3 trips and riding each this year I have came to the conclusion that for where we ride and how we ride I simply have more fun on the 146. We do not get way out west but do ride the Black Hills in SD quite frequently. If I could have a 146 with the steering set up from my 155 that would be a perfect sled for me. I was laughing under my helmet this weekend riding the 146 because it pulls the front end so easy - could ride it like a jet ski. Granted I am sure the guys who ride the deep and steep it wouldn't ne worth a crap but as an overall sled I am on board with the 146. You got to keep track speed up and be looking at your lines better when climbing but man it sure is fun. Flipper to the bar!

Man I rode a 800 136x2 for many years. Stepped up to a 800 146”x2-1/8 for a few years. Went to a 800 155x2.6 for a few years. I think the 146 was my favorite. I often wonder how a 146x1.75 with hillcross studs (1.860”) every 4th bar would work. Get the biggest motor and turn it fast!

I’m on a XCR 850 129”x1.352” studded this season. I was blown away by how deep of snow I could actually go through turning 105mph track speed. I think the snow just vaporizes at some point. But I made it. Obviously XCR not made for this day but thats all I had to ride..
