The ND snow depths look like they may be up to 20 inches in parts of Eastern ND. Has anyone been riding? Decent snow anywhere else for a weekend when there isn't enough time to go West, but would still like to ride a bit...?

Sounds like the wind has been tough on the snow the last week with gusts over 50 mph. Hoping for more snow with less wind!

There is plenty of snow its just all rock hard and solid drifts. If I lived in Bismarck I would be in Cooke right now.

Yes.... I live in Park River. There is good snow here and it gets more and more towards Lake of the Woods. If you are not along some trees or river bottom its hard as concrete here. Its great trail riding if you are into that but the boondocking soft spots are few and far between.

Sometimes it is nice to take a short trip in ND and actually find some snow off trail without driving 8 hours or more out West. Hopefully another time... Thanks for the info and hoping for snow around ND.
