I would love to know if the NA mufflers are the same. If not, I get to buy 3 new $500 cans next year. Erk. Gotta cook food.

I looked at one of ours today, lots of clearance between side panel and HPS can. Obviously doesn't help, lol. Chaincase no way, completely different for the new setup.

It would be interesting to see what the inside of the coupler piece is like. I am assuming the TKI belt drive will need to be tweaked. Tom uses an internal expanding collar to grab the drive shaft and anchor the bottom gear. With needing he splines to slid in I don't think there is room for it.

From what I have seen the MVM bottom sprocket uses the snap ring but haven't personally had one of their kits. FWIW, I think Rasmussen runs the MVM kit right?

The MVM kit uses the same belt doesn't it? And the MVM kit is a 63 bottom gear correct? Then could a guy get an MVM bottom gear if he so chooses?

I believe one of the videos that SnoWest posted mentioned the can being pulled in. I would ASSUME thats means it’s different.

Most will not fit and also due to 4th engine mount the area where they were previously mounted is different. Pretty sure you will need new ones.cheers dave
Makes sense.

I wonder why it's so hard for Doo to make the stock muffler lighter, smaller and still okay on sound? Is it just overall cost?

Don't know anything on cost but everyone knows the smaller they go the noisier they get. I'm sure if they could get them skinnier they would have because that would have allowed them to even the sled out. I believe it is an inch wider on exhaust side than clutch side.

A few pics of the right side. I think if you’ve got a slim after market can it might fit? But there’s a 4th motor mount as Dave mentioned
