Started on the steering mod, the bar will be about 5 inches closer to me.



The lever i removed from the pitman arm will be welded back but in a higher position so the steering rod will clear the plenum.

Since i have been riding with ASA shocks from the sled was finished i find it hard to review them, but now i have a pair of Fox to compare with.
It will be really interesting.

Im waiting for another pyramid support bracket before i will move on with the steering.
But some parts for the next build has arrived.
A Lynx Chassie, i was only interested in the sheets around the driveshaft but got the whole chassie for the same price.

Snapped a bolt to the front shock so i had to drill and extract it.

A new pyramid bracket.

And some more stuff for the next build...

Since i will be using the stock in tank fuel pump i needed the connector.
I failed to find a used one so i had to order a new one from BRP.
8 plastic bags and 37 bucks later i had the complete connector.


Some mods will be made to the temp gauge.

Please share on the ASA vs. Floats. Have those ASA shocks in the back of my mind now ever since you made me aware of them. Would be cool to take trip to "Söta bror" and buy for a change!

I will Review the ASA shocks as soon as i have some miles on the Floats.




Made an extra support for the lower part since i had some flex there.

installing the ignition key and gauge on the hood, had to offset the gauge a bit to the left to have clearance around the key.



and then i mounted som heat insulation on the Lynx Boondocker gas tank that i bought this summer.

Gas tank mounted, connected hoses and Cables to the pump.

also mounted a small pulse dampener to the pressure gauge.

preparing to narrow the bars.

changed clutch spring for higher engament rpm. removed the fan that was blowing Cold air around the turbo since it was not needed.

Made a connector with a resistor on it to simulate full gas tank, so i wont get any error codes.



Made my bars a bit narrower and installed steering hooks from a Pro RMK

Made a holder for tether, Boost and AFR gauges.




tether in place.


Made a connector to the Three gauges.



Battery holder in progress.

Some hammer and Dolly work to make the battery fit and straps mounted.

glued some rubber.
