It looks like the XM bred an RMK. Hope fully narrower, NO engine breaking, lift up hood, and a 80 pound diet, be it a boosted 2 stroke or light weight boosted 4 stroke. 190 HP We'll all know in a week if not sooner !!

Yeah that engine is an awesome engine! It doesn't make a ton of power tho is the only thing. I think 80-90 hp is all that 950 triple makes. I think it sounds more like the 4 banger R1 motor.

I read an article 2/3 years ago that said they could get 240 out of this engine, that would be tons for out of the box in the right chassie:eyebrows:

yah at 14000+ rpm they put out 200hp at the crank in stock form,as impressive as that is,its still not going to be what most mtn riders want.
weight has become a huge catch word in mtn riding & if yammi want more of the mtn share they need to close the gap so its at least close.

if the want to stay with 4strokes,they need to build a light 3cylinder 6-800cc with a small turbo system to get them down in weight.

the r1 & viper motors both have a 30-45lbs penalty on the 800cc 2strokes right from the start.

if they want to get in the 2 stroke game right now is there best oppertunity.
