Looking at possibly picking up a 95 Wildcat 700 efi. In real nice shape, 136, around 4k miles. He's asking $995. Any advice on these sleds would be really helpful. Anything specific to look for? Thanks!!!
heavy..very heavy...use high quality oil..!!!..keep the primary clutch well maintained..rollers etc..they ran reliable...you are getting a great buy on a decent sled in their day..!!!..i would jump all over it..
so if ya haven;t bought it yet..look over the clutches..suspension..drivers/track..chaincase play..proper compression test..steering slop etc..just what ya can..the basics
HEAVY ! If it was me I would look for a 580 ! I would take a 580 powder special over a wildcat any day of the week. If you are just a trail rider then the weight wont really matter. If you powder the 580 is a much better sled.
