A BIG THANKS From the Friends of Cooke City Search and Rescue

We at the Friends of Cooke City Search and Rescue and all of the members of Search and Rescue here in Cooke City would like to thank anyone who has ever donated time and/or money in any way to help our cause. As many of you know this year we were not able to put on our annual New Years event, BUT I have two things to announce. First is that there will be a big event coming in March that will make up for it I hope! This will be taking the usual "Hog Roast" event and making it bigger and better than ever! I will make a new thread dedicated to information on that event. The second thing I want to share is that while we didnt hold our New Years event this year we did do something great. With money we have raised over the past several years we have been able to purchase many items which we needed to keep up with the growing needs of our local Search and Rescue. This year we purchased a big item. Here is the poster I have put up around town to say THANKS to anyone who has ever given!

Well its definitely not just me, there are a LOT of folks who give of themselves to make our local S & R work!

Very true at that. It is nice to get away from the everfyday lifestyle and go out there to relax. Everyone in this small community seem's to just click and help out in any way any manner no question's asked. A great little paradise.

Rob, you guys do an awesome job that many times doesn't have a very good outcome. Glad to see the people of Cooke City have a very good SAR team. Thanks for the hospitality over New Years and hope to see you soon. Rick
