99 thunder cat any ideas

End of the ride running out of gas temp light was on it quit. Next morning we put gas in it couldnt hardly pull it over,its in the shop now plugs out hard to pull over,but if you turn it over by using the clutch with your hands it seems to roll over fairly free, piston are all moving you can feel compresion in all the jugs, any ideas on were to go with this? anybody had this happen to them? crank? or??? my buddies sled

You may have cooked one or more of the head gasket o rings and had antifreeze leak into a cylinder and make it hard to turn over. I would pull the heads and check the o rings. Had it happen on a 600 ZRT once.
