99 Powder Special No Spark!

As the title says no spark to either plug. Had a hard time getting it started last time out then got it to fire and rode it like HE!! back to the trailer. Got it home, drove out of trailer and left it for a day. Then drove it onto patio to work on later. Now it won't do anything, How do you check the stator? I know these r a problem. What else is there to check?

99.9% chance it is the stator. VERY COMMON PROBLEM. We have replaced over 100 of those over the years.

Sprocket I would say its the stator also. Replace the stator and pickup and you should be going again.

Still no go!

Well had the stator rebuilt by RMStator and still no luck in getting this thing fired up! Any other ideas? I have another ECU I picked up with a parts lot I bought this summer and I'm going to swap them out this week. If that doesn't work what else should I look for? THANKS
