98' Indy 500 RMK with ACCS

I am working on my brother in law's 98' Indy 500 RMK with ACCS, cleaning the carburetors as it had not run at least 3 years and I got it up running but carburetor adjustments seems to be finky to mess around. It would start after 3-4 pulls with choke on while cold, will idle with choke in middle position then flip choke closed after a minute or so, it will idle at least a minute then dies as if it is starving for gas but once again flip choke on, it will start up right away. Once engine is warm up, it will stay running at idle.... Secondly, from dead start when hit throttle, rpm doesn't pick up right away so flipping throttle about 3 or couple more times before rpm picks up then throttle response would be crispy. So, what problem should I check for?
Carburetors are round style mikunis....

ACCS could be bad. It controls the fuel bowls with barometric pressure. To check, unplug the vents. If it works, vent the carbs to the air box. Sounds like the carbs still have sh&t in them. Make sure the needle and seat are not stuck (controls the floats.) When idling it is on the pilot needle circuit make sure it is clean. If none of that works check fuel pump to make sure you are getting fuel, pump could have dried up and not pumping up to snuff. (doubt it but possible).

Problem solved! I pulled carbs out again and went thru everything twice and know what I found? Pilot jets were plugged again just like first time I tore carbs apart. I did drained old gas and replaced fuel filter before start the sled up. My theory is that possibly some fine debris broke loose inside fuel pump and plugged pilot jets up again when I fired up sled after carb cleaned up first time. The way I looked at fuel system, I think Polaris should have the fuel filter in between fuel pump and carbs not between fuel pump and gas tank! Now throttle is very crispy and take off like a raped ape.....
