872 jetting

Just wondering if you guys are following Dave's recommendation on Jetting, or if you have tried anything richer/leaner? Riding at 5-8500' elevation. Still running the recommended break in jetting with only 115 miles on it. Just wondering what you guys are running? Only good 872 info please, no sarcasm or bashing anyone.

i went to 560/580 runs better with more fuel

I would follow Daves instructions. Its a brand new tight engine that needs to be broken in with throttle burps and heat cycles. After a couple tanks I would start checking piston wash and spark plug readings. Then lean it up if need be.

I started with daves suggestion of 540/560 I also tried leaner , runs better with mor fuel!!

What heads are you running IE 1349's 1350's ?

Not sure which head. Per Daves recommendation, I mix 1 to 2 gals of Av gas per tank.

I have a 14:1 head and it loves race gas at 8k+. Bad is its hard to check wash. Burns super clean. I run 560/580

My heads are 1349's and I mix 2 gallons of av per tank jetted at 560-580.That's at 3000-6000 feet
