800 VES into a IQR Chassis

Any help here would be great..!!

Well trying to put a 800VES 03 in to a 05 IQR Chassis..


Trying to figure out the engine Mounting??

What to use?


And what Exhaust will work..

Call Carl's Cycle in Boise. I think they have pipes for it and a mount plate. Brad (PSI1200) has a plate as well. You may have to drill it for the motor.

I have everything you need plate, pipes and carb adapters to do the job pm if you are interested. Bolt in with a little modification to your bulkhead the plates are pre drilled . Brad

It is the 800 conversion thread that is pinned in there IQR/Race section. I am pretty sure most of the pictures will no longer be on there. There is basically 2 ways of doing it. The Polaris way, and the genuis that just posted above me (little *** kiss'n) Brad at Power Addictions way.

The Polaris way (wrong way) you will need the 05 mod steering hoop and mod steering stem, it also lifts the engine 1.5 inches higher to clear the bulkhead gives you alot less room. Power Addictions way you have to cut the bulkhead a little, it sits the engine alot lower (better center of gravity) also gives you the option to run up to 6 motor mounts. No need for modified hoop and stem. Like he also said above, buy his billet intake manifolds they rock! Alot of the people doing these at first where ripping there rubber manifolds.

Just read that pinned thread all roads will lead to Power Addiction.

P.S. Not ripping on the polaris way. Power Addictions setup is just alot better, tougher, and cleaner.

You won't find a better deal. I will include EVERYTHING you need. Hell for $350 extra i will throw in a set of BAD Oscar Customs ported top end, water cover, and head. It will also come with all the little hoses you will need and i will assist you on the install.

I also have a BRAND NEW 800 primary that has 3 rides on it. $400

I did my homework on this kit and you could have this engine in the sled and running around in 2-3 hours. you CAN NOT build a cheaper kit.

i agree that Brad is the guy to talk to, i got his plate, pipes, spacers and spindles from him and it all fits perfectly. Great guy to deal with.

second everything everyone said about brads its the way to go im running his plate, carb boots, and i was able to use the stock single pipe and a custom can and it fits great

I believe the Bad oscar customs plate that i have is the same as brads at power addiction.


If you want to buy everything new, Brad at Power Addiction is the way to go, he is an AWSOME guy!

You are probably correct. I am not all to happy with my engine that i purchased from Spank. It is what it is. IT ran good for a while.
