7s display - is it worth it? Would you get it again?

Definitely worth the money in my opinion. The gps display on your dash is fantastic. I wondered all over the place before this but now it's incredible how easy it is to navigate around and through areas then get back to the truck on a completely different route. Couple that with the fact that you can scout areas on your laptop or ipad from the couch, then transfer waypoints or routes to the sled display has opened up new areas that I didn
t know about before.
I have only been with one other rider that had it to use the group ride feature. That worked really well also. He stopped to adjust something and I couldn't see him behind me anymore. I stopped and looked at the display to see how far away he was. After a few minutes of waiting I started to turn around to go find him and he started moving again on my screen. I just stayed put and he rode right to me. saved both of us turning around or waiting when we didn't need to. There's my $1.398 opinion.

Even though our 2023 7S have worked intermittently, the 7S is awesome and I can’t imagine riding without the GPS and tracks staring at me. The group ride is amazing too, awesome to see where others are and if they are moving or not.

Yes, it is worth it to me. The GPS is excellent and very intuitive. The ability to link up other riders using the 7S is great too. I’ve used it before and that feature works pretty good, although I wish the operating distance was greater.

100% worth it. Being able to see where I am going on the fly and tracking other riders in my group is invaluable. Using the map in real time to find new zones is awesome or just following an old track back to a zone you enjoyed is great. Easy to get turned around otherwise.

Definitely worth the extra money. I wouldn’t have gotten it on my 22 boost but it wasn’t an option. Now after having it I would not order a sled without.

How much extra would you be willing to pay for it? It came standard on my 22’ boost, and I love it. If I had to pay extra for it, not sure how much I’d be willing to pay? $1,000?

I was exactly the same way. Didn't order it on my NA then once I had used it on my Boost I added it to my 9R. Definitely would order it on every sled going forward. Being able to find your buddies on that screen is priceless.

My EXACT experience as well. Won't order a sled without it EVER again.

It’s amazing when it works. Ill get one with every sled from now on…..If they get the kinks worked out.

Would not have ordered it for myself....but wound up with 1 this year and now gotta have it.

If everyone else has it or trail tech it's worth every penny. If they don't, it's just a guage.buddy was whining that it sucks when he was only one with it one day. It still has some cool features but is the buddy tracking that makes it the bomb.
The big screen GPS with tracks is also the bomb!

Evidently Polaris owns Trail Tech and Trail Tech makes the 7s - I haven't tried it yet but I understand the Trail Tech will connect with the 7s for the buddy tracking system. I love the large display and the GPS. Won't order a sled without it .

As for cost it should be similar to the Trail Tech, around $600, not the $1,150 I had to pay for it. Or the $1,750 it costs if you are starting from scratch. ( Polaris website price)

100% love mine. Buddies snowbike with trail tech is sick too. Being able to see one another. Buddy tracking makes for way less circle jerking looking for peeps. Also when blazing thru the woods helps make exploring a little less ridiculous when you can loop back to your own tracks on thr map
